Obtaining the certification demonstrates the institution's management's commitment to family-friendly principles and contributes to laying the foundations of a modern corporate culture.

Our goal is to support the quality of life of our current and future employees by harmoniously aligning work and private life.
In the future, we aim to expand the range of family-friendly measures through which we can contribute to the well-being of our colleagues.

What is the Family-Friendly Place certification mark?

The core mission of the Family-Friendly Hungary Center is to promote the idea that work and private life are not mutually exclusive but rather mutually reinforcing factors in individual fulfillment. Today, more and more people recognize that a well-balanced employee in their family life contributes more effectively to the success of the organization through their commitment. A family-friendly approach at the organizational level also supports long-term employee retention and provides a competitive advantage in the labor market.
The strategic goal of the Family-Friendly Hungary Center is to strengthen and make widespread the value system of family-friendliness in our society, in which workplaces and services play a key role. In this spirit, the Family-Friendly Place certification mark was created, which now in its renewed form certifies applying workplaces and service providers based on the implementation of family-friendly criteria.

What is a Family-Friendly Place?

A Family-Friendly Place is an organization that supports the fulfillment of family roles by taking into account the perspectives of both the employer and the employee, as well as the service provider and the service user. It considers the changing life circumstances of families, thereby reducing conflicts that may arise from the clash between organizational expectations and family needs.
In the case of a Family-Friendly Workplace, employee support may include, among other things, atypical employment options and services provided to employees (e.g., workplace nurseries, summer childcare, recreation, community building, health protection, interest representation, and training opportunities).

Why is it worth obtaining the certification?

The family-friendly approach represents a socially valuable message that is gaining increasing significance and appeal today. Obtaining the certification provides a significant competitive advantage in terms of PR and CSR (corporate social responsibility), making the certified organization more attractive to both employees and clients.
Receiving the certification serves as credible proof of the organization’s commitment to family-friendly principles.
Following a successful audit, the Family-Friendly Hungary Center issues the Family-Friendly Place certification mark in the name of the organization, which expresses the organization's commitment to operating in a family-friendly manner and verifies the existence of fundamental measures taken to achieve this.
