Lake Bath

• Attention! The depth of the lake is 2 m – 38 m.
• Guests are allowed to stay in the Lake Bath area only during opening hours. Guests may use the bath and its services only upon medical instruction or at their own responsibility.
• Children under the age of 12 are not advised to use the Bath. However, they may do so upon medical recommendation with adult supervision. Children are advised to use the tempered leisure pool with a dedicated child zone located alongshore the Lake Bath (seasonal service).
• Contraindications for the Lake Bath include cardiovascular diseases, high blood pressure, fever, infectious diseases and pregnancy. Please consult your physician before using the Bath.
• No drunk person causing public outrage is allowed in the Lake Bath area or the Festetics Day Spa. Bath personnel may refuse to provide services to drunk persons.
• Accessible lockers and their facilities (e.g. shower, toilet, terrace, etc.) for handicapped people may only be used upon presentation of appropriate licence or instrument, do not use these without proper permission.
• You may use Lake Bath services by purchasing single-day ticket regulated in our price list or using your valid lake-pass. The services of the bath can be used only with valid entrance tickets.
• You may enter the territory of the Lake Bath through the electronic access control system with a wristband provided by the cashier beforehand. Entry and exit is possible only with the use of wristbands. Orderly entry through the tripod turnstile is mandatory (except for handicapped person), it is FORBIDDEN to climb or jump over it. The manager of the Bath may check the validity of the wristband at any given time.
• Tickets, lake-passes and other discounts cannot be used during events that are not part of the regular opening hours.
• Locker numbers are not provided in a fix order, it is not a self-serving system. Guests can only you a specific locker assigned to their wristband upon receiving a locker number. Security pass (wristband) has to be used to lock the locker door in case of non-self-serving systems. Proper usage serves the safe operation of lockers. Please always check whether the locker is closed! Our institution does not offer any compensation for your damage if these regulations were violated.
• In case of lake passes, when the guest leaves the territory of the lake, the previously assigned locker number is deleted at the moment of exiting, thus the locker has to be emptied beforehand. Upon returning, new locker number assignment is required. The institution does not assume responsibility for personal belongings left in lockers! We do not assume responsibility for valuables left in the territory of the Bath (on cloak pegs, shelfs in the bath house, sunbeds, chairs)!
• We assume liability only for the valuables left in the safe deposit. Our liability is excluded for expensive valuables unreasonably brought in by the guest. Wearing jewellery in medicinal water is not recommended! Guests must take their personal belongings with them. Taking the safe deposit and locker key(s) leads to legal consequences.  
• Water lilies in the lake are strictly protected! Any intentional harm to their leaves or flowers is strictly prohibited and involves legal consequences.
• Unauthorized product distribution is prohibited in the entire territory of the Lake Bath.
• Cloakroom services are available during winter season.
• Please keep the Bath clean and use equipment only for their intended purposes. Any damage caused either wilfully or by negligence may be subject to financial liability.
• Only the designated indoor pool area is allowed to be occupied after sunset. It is strictly prohibited to enter the lake after sunset even at the guests’ own responsibility!
• Full refund may be requested for cancelled appointments in the Therapy Centre of Festetics Day Spa only if the services are cancelled at least 2 hours prior to the selected time. Unpaid appointments are re-sold 10 minutes after the commencement of the treatment session.
• Treatments (massages, special massages, cosmetics, manicure-pedicure, mud-pack, underwater stretching, movement therapy) are available only with appointments made at the Therapy Reception of Festetics Day Spa. Sessions missed for any reason attributable to the guests may not be recovered. If the guest skips two treatment sessions, every other appointment will be removed from the treatment schedule.
• Please do not use your mobile phone in the treatment room or in the wellness area.
• Showering is required before using the Lake Bath and the Sauna World. Please always use the foot washer before entering any of the Sauna World pools.
• Children under the age of 12 are not allowed to use Sauna World services.
• To ensure the comfort of others and protect the water of the lake, the following activates are prohibited in the Lake Bath and the Sauna World:
  • eating, littering or jumping in the water
  • bringing balls, fragile objects (e.g. plate, glass, etc.) or other objects in the water which may cause injury or disrupt the comfort or other bathing guests
  • being in the territory of the lake without slippers
  • entering the premises used by the opposite gender (e.g. toilet, locker, shower, etc.)
  • bringing animals to the Bath area, except for guide dogs
  • misbehaving or acting in an unethical or inappropriate manner.
• If you notice any abnormalities, please contact our personnel.
• Swimming-tube rental is possible only with the purchase of the rental ticket and the payment of the deposit. The Bath returns the deposit fee of the rented equipment only until the end of bathing time, on the day of rental. Rental is possible only for the day of purchase, therefore the rented equipment must be returned until the end of bathing time! The deposit is not refundable if the rented equipment is damaged.
• Smoking is prohibited in the whole territory of the Lake Bath.
• Only children under the age of 14 are allowed to use the children’s pool. Adults are prohibited from entering the children’s pool due to hygiene concerns. Do not leave your children without supervision! In the paddling-pool, one supervising adult per child is allowed. Swim-diaper for toddlers is obligatory.
• Services may be refused by the personnel for anyone who breaks these rules or fails to follow them upon warning.
• Utilization of the services means that the user of such services has accepted these rules. anyone who breaks these rules or disrupts the comfort of other guests may be requested (by our personnel or security guards) to leave the facilities and may be excluded from further use of services. In case of any event qualifying as minor offense or crime, we will have the authorities involved and will file a suit against the perpetrator.
• Please be advised that security surveillance system is operated in the territory of the Lake Bath.
